Job Summary

NOTE: THIS IS A TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT WITH A TYPICAL DURATION OF UP TO 1 YEAR

Under general supervision, carries out a variety of organizational change management (OCM) activities and assists in day-to-day administration of Organizational Change Management programs in one or more of the following areas: training, performance management, employee engagement, talent planning and change management.  Provides assistance to senior-level Organizational Change Management staff in these activities.  This is essentially an entry-level professional Organizational Change Management job that entails exposure or assignments across a broad range of Organizational Change Management specialty areas.  Incumbents work in accordance with existing policies & procedures, or specific instructions, but take on assignments entailing judgment and/or discretion to select from, or recommend alternative approaches.  Span of control = 0: this is an individual contributor job.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Acts as a partner to Organizational Change Management Team to formulate Organizational Change Management -related plans that are consistent with the Corporation’s and business unit’s (BU’s) mission and vision.
  • Collaborates with Organizational Change Management team and professional / administrative staff to assist with plans to address business needs; executes initiatives and ongoing activities dealing with employee engagement, performance management, change management and talent planning.
  • Assist with the appropriate use of the Organizational Change Management service delivery model, Organizational Change Management policy and guidelines.
  • Assist Organizational Change Management team with coaching leaders, and employees through employee-   related matters.
  • Coordinates training sessions (scheduled and adhoc), prepares materials, evaluations and provides classroom support to Sr. Consultants.
  • Serves as LMS (Learning Management System) administrator for Organizational Change Management team
  • Maintains departmental databases and creates reports
  • May assist with managing the design and implementation of Organizational Change Management programs (i.e., training, team building, special events).
  • Solicits guidance and advice from senior-level Organizational Change Management staff as needed to ensure that appropriate recommendations and actions are carried out in accordance with Corporate & BU needs.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Six (6) months of HR-related experience (e.g. labor relations, staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, organizational change management, etc.)

Other Qualifications

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources-related disciplines, e.g Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Industrial Psychology, etc (excludes human and social services disciplines)
  • Experience in organizational development
  • Creating and updating PowerPoint presentations
  • Analyzing and reviewing survey

  • Proficient oral and written communication, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate clearly, credibly and confidently.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills consistent with the ability to identify key issues from a broad range of alternatives, and recommend optimal solutions for various situations.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, issues or projects that may include high-visibility initiatives and require innovation, teamwork and planning.
  • Capable of managing work with shifting priorities, multiple demands from leaders, peers and client groups in a positive and evenhanded fashion; displays a calm demeanor under pressure and embraces change.
  • Proficient in MS Office sufficient to apply it with minimal instruction or guidance (this level of proficiency typically attainable through 1+ year(s) of experience with the applications).
  • Ability to work in a 'team' and/or 'matrix' structure, supporting multiple clients.
