Job Summary

Leads product teams in delivering incremental business value each sprint for the initiatives housed in the corporate digital factory. Oversees the scrum process, healthy team dynamics, and team productivity to deliver its sprint goals while maintaining satisfaction with the process. Fosters continuous improvement mindset and educates teams to ensure measurable improvements with each sprint. Span of control 0; individual contributor.

Key Accountabilities

  • Builds and coaches high performing agile product teams
  • Develops ways to strengthen teams understanding of agile / scrum concepts and principles
  • Aligns teams’ actions with the initiative goals and vision for the digital factory
  • Ensures scrum practices are used and improved within and across teams
  • Fosters a continuous learning environment by motivating team members to introspect and adapt
  • Provides guidance and insight to less experienced members of the team

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

  • This is a multi-track base requirement job; education and experience requirements can be satisfied through one of the following three options:
    • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience working with agile and scrum processes/methodologies; OR
    • Associate degree and 9 years of experience working with agile and scrum processes/methodologies; OR
    • High school diploma or GED and 11 years of experience working with agile and scrum processes/methodologies


  • Holds certification as Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC)

Other Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or engineering


Other Requirements: 

  • Experience working with various technology stacks and technical resources
  • Advanced ability to facilitate and work with teams, including cultivating team dynamics, coaching on agile concepts, and communicating effectively
  • Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE’s emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers
