Hybrid Role: This role is hybrid, with an established schedule of in-person work required at an assigned work location. Any remote work is expected to be performed from an employee’s primary residence, unless allowed (or prohibited) through the Company’s remote work guidelines.

Emergency Response: Yes – Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE’s emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers.

Job Summary

Participates in the execution of business plans, initiatives, and projects, ensuring they align with business unit goals and translating into actionable steps. Reviews and analyzes tactical assignments and processes, conducts research, and identifies areas for improvement. Supports change management initiatives and development of scalable systems to navigate and adapt process challenges. Assists business to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and achieve measurable results. Collaborates with subject matter experts to develop learning content and ensure alignment with the learning plan.

Key Accountabilities

  • Identifies opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and optimize processes to support successful execution.
  • Tracks key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of execution efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitates decision-making processes related to execution, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis and understanding of the business.
  • Evaluates and identifies opportunities to enhance business process efficiency and effectiveness by conducting research and analyzing alternatives solutions.
  • Participates in planning and execution of tasks, projects, and initiatives, monitoring key indicators to ensure effective performance and control management of assigned operations.
  • Reviews basic initiatives of process changes, process improvements, technology enhancements, and conduct reviews to identify efficiencies and cost savings opportunities.
  • Collaborates with various teams and stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment, collaboration, and accountability during the execution phase.
  • Prepares reports and presentations of findings for senior leadership.
  • Partners with subject matter experts to develop, design, and support training materials that facilitate the implementation of new processes or systems.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

This is a multi-track based requirement job; education and experience requirements cab be satisfied through one of the following options:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Project Management with 3 years of job relevant experience in project management, project scheduling and estimating, or data analysis.
  • Associates degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Project Management with 5 years of job relevant experience in project management, project scheduling and estimating, or data analysis.
  • High school diploma or GED with 7 years of job relevant experience in project management, project scheduling and estimating, or data analysis.

  • Proficient verbal, written and presentation skills; communicates clearly with credibility and confidence
  • Extensive knowledge of data analysis; ability to summarize data effectively and provide appropriate summaries in response to common business questions
  • Experience with cost and performance metrics; especially interpretation, trending and writing high-level performance commentary
  • Ability to develop and coordinate cross-functional work groups and projects, yielding optimal outcomes
  • Ability to work with shifting priorities and embrace new or evolving responsibilities

Preferred

  • Familiarity with DTE financial and work management systems: SAP, Maximo, Power Plan, Databricks
  • Knowledge of database systems, queries, and analytics: SQL, Python, Power BI, Excel, Databricks BI
  • General understanding of Maximo work order hierarchy and relationship to WBSs in SAP.
