Testing Required:

Emergency Response: Yes – Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE’s emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers.


Job Summary

    Provides leadership at a Service Center for 200 to 250 employees, with expenditures in excess of $25 million annually. Leads the transformation of the Service Center into a competitive independent business unit. Collaborates with the Process Owners/Local Process Owner to identify and drive changes in the process so that their results are achieved and customer expectations are met or exceeded.

  • Meet performance goals, measures, and targets in support of company goals.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in business and field processes.
  • Develop an employee environment that embraces the company's core values
  • Encourage responsiveness to a changing business environment, emphasizing employee safety and employee development
  • Assure and maintain adherence to work practices and procedures.
  • Maintain the principles of union and management partnership in daily operations.
  • Partner with customers, community and governmental officials to maintain a high process and customer focuse workforce.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of job related experience; or HS Diploma and seven years of job related experience with 5 years supervisory experience.

  • Demonstrated ability in creating new methods, services, products and solutions
  • Strong employee and customer relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated ability in change management building consensus and support for programs and initiatives
  • Possess a valid driver's license, meet company driving standards and provide own transportation within the service area
  • Working knowledge and experience in Union/Management labor agreement administration, and knowledge of financial and economic analysis
  • Working knowledge and support of diversity/EEO, safety, and training programs
  • Basic knowledge of the company's software programs, such as OAS, WMS, etc
