Job Summary
Location: Detroit, MI
Provides analytical, budget, process, and system support for business unit. Works independently and identifies appropriate course of action to analyze issues, recommend solutions and administer programs for Operations and Asset Management reporting. Manages and coordinates various administrative and technical programs. Performs analysis, research, and studies, and prepares various reports including gas curve modeling. Develop rules for data integrity and automated implementation for compliance with California Air Resource Board (CARB) Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) program. Support monitoring plan updates in coordination with operations and asset management.
Key Accountabilities
- Perform monthly data reporting for regulated programs ensuring data meets program requirements
in close coordination with regulated program manager. - Develop tools for automated data integrity to support credit generating registration and ongoing
reporting. Deploy best practices across project portfolio on proper file completion and verification of
data. Work closely with engineering to ensure data reliability. - Manage dairy and landfill gas curves, updating models and comparing predicted values to actual
for forecast improvement - Update factors of revenue and Key Process Indicators (KPIs) to provide performance feedback to
operations and escalate concerns - Works with operations to understand gaps to performance requirements and forecasting of
production - Tracks data for metric measurements; leading development of PowerBI reporting and dashboarding
of KPIs - Responsible for process flow documentation, preparing countermeasure worksheets to improve
process design, identifying waste, adding pre-specifications and embedded tests to continuously
improve departmental processes - Coordinates budget data and information from groups throughout the department and generates
required reports by assigned deadlines - Performs investigations and moderately complex analyses statistical, trend, root cause, etc.
- Assists remote sites/startups with managing business unit requirements
- Performs all other related duties as assigned
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of three years of budget development and operational reporting/management experience is required
Other Qualifications
Preferred:
- Prior experience with land fill and/or dairy operations
Other Requirements:
- Knowledge of operations business culture
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project, Access, Excel); exceptional Excel skills given priority
- Demonstrated experience creating pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc. in Excel
- Understanding of Metrics and Measurements for achieving targeted results and making performance gaps apparent
- Understanding and application of capital accounting rules

The employee performs job duties primarily in a work from home capacity and periodically from a climate-controlled office environment, with a moderate noise level. However, on an occasional basis the employee may be required to travel to project sites where noise levels and environmental conditions may vary.
