Job Summary

Provides analytical and technology support services related to operating technology supporting Home Protection Plus Business Unit.  This includes but is not limited to working with clients to identify, document and prioritize the business requirements as well as mapping and assessment of business processes and identification of potential improvements related to operating technology. Also recommends, defines and directs work team tasks in support of client needs.  This position provides work direction to cross-departmental teams supporting business unit. 

Key Accountabilities
  • Performs all aspects of production support for home protection plus (HPP).  Analyzes and documents technology solutions supporting client needs.  Interfaces with operating areas that support needed technology improvement to understand the solution to meet business objective. 
  • Schedules and manages work activities and projects to ensure on time implementation of technology solutions meeting business needs while meeting organization and corporate goals.
  • Conducts all testing to ensure compliance within operating system and to ensure the implementation meets documented requirements. 
  • Gathers information from program managers, specialists and support staff to design and implement technological solution to HPP business objective.  Analyzes existing functionality and works with technical architects, developers and HPP staff to identify requirements, prioritize and test the desired solution to meet business objectives.  
  • Identifies/utilizes SAP CRM, ISU testing and production systems.  Uses reporting tools to report data relative to specific objectives.  Maintains access to critical tables that support HPP operations and manipulates data necessary to address the objective.  
  • Provides direction and leadership for multiple teams and may be required to lead projects. 
  • Supports multiple internal and external clients.  Interfaces with HPP call centers to understanding complex issues facing HPP customers and works within the organization to resolve issues. 
  • Works with clients to document business needs and supporting business case on large-scale business efforts as well as working with clients to understand/manage application portfolios and define training needs.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
  • Associates Degree or industry-recognized certificate (i.e. the completion of a core group of courses designated by the institution) in an information technology related discipline and 7 years of Information Technology related experience; OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field Business, Information Technology discipline, e.g. MIS, CIS and 5 years of experience of Information Technology related experience

  • Knowledge of SAP CR&B and ISU
  • Ability to lead multiple teams, support multiple internal and external clients and collaborate across multiple organizations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills necessary to identify and implement technology solutions supporting Home Protection Plus operations. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication and advocacy skills consistent with the ability to present the results of projects and research to supporting organizations.  Ability to influence and build relationships to foster a positive work environment and elicit support for acceptance of new technology within the organization.
  • Solid Project Management skills and ability to create clearly defined business cases.  Proficient in test case design and possess the ability to create test data and queries to enable test execution and verification of results.
  • Competent in multi-tasking (i.e. the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, issues or projects that may include high-visibility initiatives and require innovation, teamwork and planning).
  • Experience in managing projects, using project management tools, scheduling and managing the work activities of others.
  • Understanding of IT concepts, e.g. emerging technologies, industry standards, architectures, and systems design.  Experience testing and implementing IT solutions. 
  • Understanding of project management concepts and processes.
