Testing Required:
Hybrid Role: Must be able to come on-site periodically and reside a commutable distance from the assigned work location.
Emergency Response: Yes – Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE’s emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers.
Job Summary
Responsible for various Treasury Operations functions that may include Accounts Payable, Remittance Processing, Travel and Procurement Card Management or Records Management.
Key Accountabilities
- Analyzes and processes basic treasury system transactions.
- Provides technical expertise on basic treasury issues.
- Independently resolves basic payment issues with internal customers and vendors.
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves basic treasury system defects.
- Generates and provides required data and reports for both internal and external customers.
- Collaborates with employees across the enterprise and vendors around basic treasury issues.
- Works with leadership to identify, evaluate and implement basic process improvements.
- Performs duties in compliance with all treasury related policies and procedures.
- Provides input into plans and target setting.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree. Individuals who will be obtaining their degree within nine (9) months from submitting interest will be considered; however, verification of the degree will be required prior to starting in the job.
Other Qualifications
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
Other Requirements: Basic skills and abilities are required in the following areas:
- Ability to communicate and present information (written / oral)
- Ability to develop, revise and maintain Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations
- Analytical and critical thinking
- Time and work management
- Knowledge of Treasury processes
- Ability to foster business relationships
